BOISE, ID, July 13th, 2009 — Syringa Networks, provider of high-speed fiber optic telecommunications services, today announced the addition of a new business unit focused on the sales of network infrastructure equipment and the appointment of a new Vice President to oversee the business unit.

Bill Johnson, newly appointed Vice President of Network Equipment Sales, brings 19 years of Network Infrastructure expertise to the team along with 25 years of technology sales experience. Prior to joining Syringa Networks, Johnson worked for Cisco Systems where he opened their Boise sales and engineering office and spent 10 years developing Cisco’s business in Idaho and Montana.  Johnson previously held positions with Brocade Communications, INX, Inc. and Motorola.
