Twelve rural local telephone companies with a determination to improve telecommunications services in their communities created Syringa Networks in September 2000. These companies have been providing local telephone services in towns across southern Idaho for decades, and some for nearly a century. Our owners live, work and play in small communities from Cambridge to Island Park, and from Challis to Albion. They banded together to build a $40 million fiber-optic broadband network across southern Idaho. Our owners recognize the importance of broadband telecommunications services
to the economic well being of Idaho’s smaller, and often remote,
communities. Syringa Networks was created to bring the most advanced telecommunications
services available to their communities, and others, to enhance economic
opportunities across southern Idaho. P.O.
