Chip Hull
Chief Executive Officer
Chip Hull brings more than three decades of leadership experience to his role as CEO of Syringa Networks. He spent 30 years at FedEx in key executive positions spanning strategy, financial analysis, eCommerce, and M&A initiatives. Since joining Syringa in 2020 as CFO and stepping into the CEO role in 2024, Chip has been focused on fostering a culture of innovation, driving operational excellence, and delivering exceptional value to customers. Originally from the South, Chip and his wife Laura found their perfect home in Idaho, where they enjoy the outdoors together.
Michael Leonhardt
Chief Technology Officer
With more than 30 years of experience in enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and business modernization, Michael Leonhardt drives Syringa’s technology strategy with a clear mission: to build secure, scalable solutions that connect people to what matters. As CTO, he oversees everything from infrastructure and software development to innovation and customer experience. Michael’s approach blends technical expertise with a deep commitment to the people behind the systems, helping Syringa stay ahead in a rapidly changing tech landscape. In his free time, Michael is an avid reader, passionate about family time, and always seeking new adventures through travel.
Elijah Booth
Vice President of Channel Sales
With more than 15 years of experience in technology sales, Elijah Booth leads Syringa’s channel strategy with a focus on partnership, performance, and long-term growth. Leveraging his background for building high-impact teams and fostering meaningful relationships, he plays a key role in expanding Syringa’s presence in the channel space. Outside of work, Elijah embraces the Idaho lifestyle — from skiing and hiking to camping, fishing, and supporting local sports. His energy for connecting people and ideas fuels both his professional and personal adventures.
Paul Desaulniers
Vice President of Operations
A San Diego native and U.S. Navy veteran, Paul Desaulniers began his career as an Electronics Warfare Technician and Naval Aviator flying the SH-60B Seahawk. He earned a BS in Business from the University of Colorado, an MPA from the University of Idaho, and an MBA from Boise State. After the Navy, Paul joined Qwest (later CenturyLink), where his leadership helped position Idaho as one of the company’s top-performing markets. He joined Syringa in 2020 and now serves as VP of Operations, helping teams deliver operational excellence and exceptional service. Paul and his family are proud to call Idaho home, especially when the mountains are calling during ski season.
Andrea Lasley
Controller and Director of Finance
Andrea Lasley directs Syringa’s finance department with over 20 years of experience at the company and a clear focus on strategic growth. As Controller and Director of Finance, she is responsible for financial reporting, fiscal planning, and supporting strong financial performance across teams. Andrea holds both a BBA in Accounting from Boise State and an MBA from Northwest Nazarene University. Outside of work, Andrea enjoys photography and making memories with her husband, her three children, and her two spirited Boston terriers.
Amy Johnson
Director of Government Affairs, Marketing & Development
Amy Johnson leads Government Affairs and Marketing at Syringa Networks, as well as driving new business opportunities and partnerships for the company. Known for her collaborative approach, Amy is passionate about aligning people, ideas, and opportunities to create meaningful impact within the business and communities she serves. She previously served as Chief Operating Officer of St. Luke’s Health Plan and held a corporate strategy leadership role at Blue Cross of Idaho. She began her career in the Idaho Legislature, working with policymakers, state agencies, and education leaders. A former elected chair of Idaho’s largest school district, Amy also serves on the boards of the Idaho Technology Council and the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry.
Ben Weaver
Director of Wholesale and Member Management
Ben Weaver brings more than 15 years of experience in telecom and sales engineering to his role leading Syringa’s wholesale, carrier, and member management group. He began his journey with Syringa as a Carrier Sales Engineer in 2015 and advanced into a leadership role after earning his Professional MBA from Boise State in 2021. Ben is passionate about supporting Syringa’s member owners and carrier partners through transparency, collaboration, and long-standing relationships. Outside of work, he enjoys all things automotive, traveling, pickleball, and tackling his next challenge — learning how to golf.
Jonathan Goodwin
Director of Engineering
As Director of Engineering at Syringa Networks, Jonathan Goodwin leads teams responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining the company’s high-capacity fiber and transport infrastructure across Idaho and Utah. Over more than a decade with Syringa, he has advanced from Network Engineer to Director, overseeing Engineering, Service Delivery, and the Network Operations Center (NOC) end-to-end service performance — from network design and implementation to activation, monitoring, and customer support — ensuring reliability, scalability, and exceptional service quality. Based in Boise, Jonathan partners closely with teams across the organization to drive innovation, automation, and operational excellence. Outside of work, he values time with his family and enjoys making the most of Idaho’s great outdoors together.
Shannon Jaffa
Director of Customer Experience
For more than 25 years, Shannon Jaffa has led customer experience, built high-impact CX teams, and transformed how organizations engage and support their customers. At Syringa, she drives efforts to create proactive, personalized experiences that align with each customer’s goals. Her approach is rooted in empathy, efficiency, and a company-wide commitment to doing right by the customer. Outside work, Shannon treasures time with her family and especially loves being a grandma. She enjoys camping, crafting, and creating homemade sweets.
Chris Paskewich
Director of Technology Solutions & Sales Operations
With 15 years of experience in technology solutions consulting, Chris has worked with executive and IT leaders to solve challenges, enhance user experiences, and drive business outcomes. Known for his data-centric approach, he helps organizations streamline decision-making and reduce “briefcase time.” Chris has supported hundreds of customers across a wide range of services, including network as a service, cybersecurity, cloud and data center, and workplace experience.
Gwen Reynolds
Head of Channel Sales
Gwen Reynolds is a growth architect and a natural connector who excels at bridging the gap between complex technology and human partnership. With over 15 years of leadership experience, she has spent her career building elite partner ecosystems for industry titans like Comcast, Verizon, and 8×8. Gwen is a disruptive thinker who looks beyond standard sales models, viewing every relationship as a strategic bridge to new possibilities. At Syringa Networks, she pairs a “bias for action” with a servant-leadership heart, driven by the belief that the strongest connections are the ultimate catalyst for business transformation. Based in Herriman, Utah, Gwen’s instinct for connection extends to her personal life and family. Whether she is exploring Utah’s rugged mountain trails, navigating open waters, or scouting her next international destination, she approaches every adventure with the same curiosity and energy she brings to her partners.
