Syringa Networks is expanding its fiber-optic network into northern Idaho, marking a significant step in strengthening high-speed connectivity throughout the region. As part of the initial buildout, the company is installing approximately 54 miles of fiber along the I-90 corridor and through Coeur d’Alene.
This expansion brings Syringa Networks’ reliable, facilities-based, self-healing fiber-optic infrastructure to northern Idaho — the same network quality and performance that businesses and communities rely on throughout Idaho and Utah. The project will support economic growth, enhance local connectivity options, and lay the groundwork for future broadband development in the region.
To lead this effort, Syringa Networks has appointed Jim Meyers as the new General Manager for the northern Idaho market. Meyers, who brings more than 25 years of telecom experience and six years with Syringa Networks, is relocating to the area to oversee construction and support the opening of a new regional office.
This strategic investment reflects Syringa Networks’ ongoing commitment to expanding high-quality fiber access across Idaho and supporting the communication needs of communities large and small.
