Syringa Networks proudly served as a Gold Sponsor for the Idaho STEM Action Center’s annual Industry’s Excellent Educator Dedicated to STEM (INDEEDS) Award — an initiative that honors educators who spark curiosity and inspire students through innovative science, technology, engineering, and math learning experiences.
Each year, the INDEEDS Award recognizes Idaho teachers who bring STEM to life in the classroom through hands-on activities, real-world problem-solving, and engaging curriculum design. The program celebrates educators who go above and beyond to prepare students for future careers in STEM fields and to cultivate the next generation of leaders, inventors, and critical thinkers.
This year’s award recipient was Gina Kwid, an elementary engineering teacher at Galileo STEM Academy in Eagle, Idaho. Ms. Kwid is known for creating meaningful STEM experiences that allow students to explore engineering concepts, collaborate creatively, and build skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
Representing Syringa Networks, Larry Price, Vice President of Marketing and Sales, presented the award check to Ms. Kwid and her students. Also in attendance were Galileo Principal Rob Lamb and Principal Intern Wendy Palmerton, who joined in celebrating her achievements and dedication.
The INDEEDS Award package included:
• Funding to support STEM initiatives and classroom programs
• Personal prize money for the educator
• Funding to attend a national STEM conference for professional development
